Either from the ferry or the airport in Tangier, we pick you up and start the journey through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan city to enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains of Morocco till we get to Chefchaouan; the latter is one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen Medina, with the amazing blue color of its wall and doors, becomes one of the best towns to visit in Morocco, surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes. Overnight in Chefchaoun.
After breakfast in the Riad, our journey will head towards Volubilis (Meknes) crossing several Rif villages, we will pay a stop in Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins and learn about the Moroccan BC history, then we will drive to Meknes city (the 17th-century heritage) where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon our group will visit the historical sites of Medina such as “Bab el Mansour”, “Moulay Ismail Mausoleum”. Later on, we head to Fes city where we will spend the night.
The third day is for exploring the oldest city of Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built-in as well as the most interesting sites of Fes accompanied by a professional guide. At 08 am after having breakfast, visitors accompanied by a guide would resume the journey from Fez to Marrakech via Sahara. You leave for Midelt through the Atlas Mountains and the cedar forests of the middle Atlas. you pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft center specialized in the work of cedarwood. You will arrive at Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon you will drive to Erfoud and into the desert respectively. Once you arrive at the dunes of Erg Chebbi, a small off-road takes you to the edge of the golden dunes where camels are waiting for you, the luggage will be loaded in a 4x4 car and transported to the camp, and you can enjoy an awesome camel ride over the dunes and watch a majestic Sahara sunset on your way to the camp. After reaching your destination, you will be greeted with tea. You will be shown to your traditional and comfortable private tents equipped with en-suite bathrooms and showers to relax and settle before dinner time. After a delicious meal, the fire will be lit in open, and other enjoyable stuff.
After getting up early, seeing the sunrise, taking lovely pictures, visitors go back either on camels or by 4x4 leaving the dunes behind their hotel for taking a shower and eat breakfast. Back on the asphalt roads, you depart to Erfoud which is known for fossils' making. Drive through palm groves and Savanah like the desert. We stop for lunch, then we take a short walk in Todra Gorges. We head to our stopping point Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight will be in the hotel.
After breakfast, we – guide and visitors - will take a short walk in the gorges. We will follow the Dades Valley through El Kelaa Magona known as Valley of the Roses and the road of a thousand Kasbahs. We visit Ouarzazate and stop for lunch in the “Ait Benhaddou” village. We will spend a period exploring the famous protected UNESCO site which is the nest of many films like Gladiator, Lawrance of Arabia, and much more. We will drive via a mountain chain Tizi N’ Tichka (Altitude approximately 2260 m)to arrive at Marrakech.
