Our Errachidia desert tour to Fes will start by picking visitors up at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or from their hotel in Errachidia, then travel along the Ziz Valley. We would stop in a panoramic view of souvenir pictures. Then continue the journey to Erg Chebbi dunes via Erfoud, the capital of fossils and best qualities of dates. We would arrive at Merzouga, where we will find an experienced camel guide and camels waiting to carry us across the fabulous dunes of Merzouga, for around half an hour to reach the camp. The whole night will be spent in a private camp in nomad tents that comes with camel riding, or in Auberge Kasbah.
After having breakfast in the camp and camel trek back to Merzouga, our explorative day of Merzouga desert is to start, we would drive through the desert on a 4x4 vehicle. We will also have an opportunity to visit a nomadic family close to the borders between Morocco and Algeria before we head to the village of dark-skinned people, originally slaves from Sudan, listen to Gnaoua music and experience their way of living. The night will be spent in either a hotel or an auberge.
After breakfast, our journey would head to Fes around 8:30 am, travel along the Ziz Valley. We will stop in any landscapes for having some memorial pictures. Lunch would be in Midelt, then the journey continues its track, it’s very likely to come across wild donkeys that live in the cedar forest of Azrou. Our next destination will be Ifran which is called Switzerland of Morocco. Ultimately, we will head to Fes and drop you off at your hotel or airport.
