3 Day Tour Errachidia to Merzouga will give you the opportunity to explore the Merzouga desert and spend plenty of time in Erg Chebbi dunes. During your 3 day trip from Errachidia, you will discover all interesting cities around the Merzouga area including Berber nomad families, oasis, fossils mines, Berber villages… experience Camel trekking to watch one of the best sunsets ever and spend a magical night in the desert camp where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, have delicious dinner, listen to the Berber drumming music and enjoy the starry sky before you go to sleep at your nomadic tented camp.
The departure will be from Errachidia (Ksar Souk as called before) to Erg Chebbi via the blue spring of Meski, Ziz Valley, marble workshop and fossils of Erfoud, then lunch break with (Arab Pizza) to Rissani. In the afternoon, our journey continues its amazing tour through the great oasis of the region by visiting the famous Kasbah Abdel Halim. The journey is to be continued on the large dry lake Serji Merzouga dunes to arrive to watch the beauty of the sunset and then overnight would be in a Hotel/Kasbah.
At 09 am after having breakfast, visitors accompanied by a guide would start an amazing tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes to explore Saharan life. The group would cross the desert landscape (salt lakes, black desert with volcanic stones, dray rivers ...), Paris-Dakar tracks by meeting with Berber nomads, mines of M'Ifis, a small oasis and villages like “Khamlia” of the black people of Sudan (Gnawa). After having lunch break which would take place on the road, the group will go back to the hotel to get prepared for a camel ride and then witness the sunset and sunrise in the desert, enjoying a quiet night under a private nomad tent and glittering stars ...!
After seeing the beautiful scene of the sunrise in the serenity of desert –camps-, the next step is going back to the hotel for having breakfast and a shower. Later, the destination would be Errachidia via a different route trail by visiting the careers of fossils in the full desert. After that Erfoud is the following place, visitors would pass by the fascinating valley of Ziz to arrive at Errachidia in the afternoon. The large dam and the gorges of Ziz in the evening and the end of our tour also could be visited.
